This has to be a joke. San Diego Transit has done nothing but cut routes and service for the past few years. The routes have been chopped up, fragmented and shortened and the whole thing is to force you to ride the trolley. So instead of taking one bus to get to a certain point, many are now having to take 2 or more buses. Case in point the #9 used to take you from downtown to Seaworld. Now you have to take a trolley to Oldtown and transfer to the bus that takes you there. How is that better service? There are so many instances of this changing from a one ride thing to a 2 or more ride thing. They are really cutting weekend service! There are so many of us who depend on the bus and I have to say it's worse than ever. I would say that MTS has the worst transit system in the country. And they don't listen to the customers. When they propose the changes, it's as good as done. Their hearings are during most people's working hours and for those who go, they aren't heard or taken into consideration. Otherwise some of these proposed changes wouldn't happen.
