i'm definitely a fan. i wonder what some of the eco-architectural solutions are for colder weather climates. it seems like these days flat paneled or pagoda style roofs would be the way to go. it would be interesting to see if perhaps an inverted rooftop could be used to collect rainwater and used to generate heat or electricity during the winter snows or rainy seasons. i only worry that having all that glass would affect heating costs due to the lack of insulation.
