Foie gras production is ranked as one of the cruelest industries within animal agribusiness. The inherent cruelty has resulted in bans on its production in at least fifteen countries including Denmark, Finland, Germany, Luxembourg, Israel, Norway, Poland

    • There are a number of cruel things that farmers do to animals. However, there are humane methods of production of foie gras, etc.. I think it's going to be far more effective to ask chefs/restaurant owners HOW their animals were raised. Check out the video link.

      They lie. You think those farmers do that? They bullshit with their 'methods' saying their geese gorge themselves once a year before winter. Then they would only make money once a year! Do they think we are asses?
      None of the businesses do that, they lieeeeeeeeee. You need to harass the restaurants' managers. Who cares if they get pissed, they are not important people in your life and they are all greeedy when the luxury industry is even falling, people shouldn't even buy foie gras when they can't afford it! That sell it regardless and boycott amazon.com for buying foie gras from an inhumane farm in Canada.
