A city that doesn't rely on cars? Oh but how do they do it?

This story features the growing city of Vauban, Germany, which has adopted a primarily automobile-free lifestyle. Correspondents from ABC news decided to head across the ocean to see how many residents get by perfectly fine without their cars and are surprised to learn that the residents are actually happier without them. Aside from being a bicycle-commuter's haven, Vauban relies upon renewable energy sources and people actually end up producing more energy than they consume.

Let's hope that more people take note and follow the example of this incredibly green and thriving city so we can make the world a better place.
