its a pity the video does not work..but still this sounds ırresponsible to me..having previously seen Esa being allowed to crash their satelite into the moon earlier in the year..this latest act of wanton destruction that is about to happen should be stopped..
As to all future destructive projects pointed towards the moon..it is a growing organic form and as such in the way of planetary affairs plays a great role in maintaining its and earths balance for one point...
It is beginning to create its own atmosphere now as can be seen on certain nights when the right conditions allow us to see the Aura or atmosphere developing around it...
You will see its glowing visible light by eye quite easily..and one of the first appearances of life that can be viewed is light...then now there will be moisture beginning to build up to support vegetation e.t.c...
Unfortunately these areas of life have been totally neglected in the quest for new resources and in the name of science that has to cut things open to try to find out how things work..whereas by a little more thought and connective thinking would allow all to benefit
I hope this scheme does not happen.... - 2 years ago

What the hell are you smoking! The moon isn't developing an atmosphere. The total mass of the entire moons "atmosphere" is about 104 kg and consists mainly of off gassing that is constantly stripped away by the solar wind. The Moon's "atmosphere" would be considered hard vacuum on earth. As for seeing it with the naked eye that is wrong too! NASA had to use very sensitive detectors to measure the nearly nonexistent gasses near the moon.
The water they found on the moon can only exist frozen in the shadows and could NEVER support indigenous plant life period.
In short the moon is a lifeless rock that is regularly pounded by meteors and asteroids everyday because it doesn't have an atmosphere. Nasa could set off our largest nuclear weapon on the Moon and you'd wouldn't be able to see the crater without a very powerful telescope.
