Evan Kopelson's Quest for Copenhagen: Angels

greenmedia
If you follow Evan Kopelson's adventures you probably know by now that he announced his intention to get to Copenhagen for the COP15 climate conference and blog the conference for Green Media News, and put out a request for "micro-donations" from Angels on the ground to help get him there. Well, he did it! Thanks to the generous support of angels, friends, advisors, readers across the country donated from between $10 to $100 and covered half the cost of Evan's flight to Copenhagen. Here is the video he published just days before booking the flight. It is of interest to note that in response to this video, Evan received a lot of negative flack from so-called "old friends" who did not support his efforts, even while the donations were pouring in from others who were inspired to act. Evan now says that taking bold action is a really powerful way to find out who your friends are. Evan's personal journals leading up to the Copenhagen trip can be found by searching for "The Sustainability Journey" on smartplanet.com
