Old habits are hard to break, especially with regard to the typical resources that we use on a daily basis. No one's saying that we shouldn't have comfortable lives, but one way to help all of us make lifestyle changes that will benefit Mother Nature without causing too much inconvenience for us is by embracing the redesign of basic household staples.

    • Yeah, there's so much we can change in just little things.
We set our thermostat at different levels for when we aren't home, going to bed, getting up.... It goes down to 60 or below at night. We also put a two stage energy saver in and it keeps the house at a better level. We also use grey water to flush toilets, etc. Utilize the suns energy.

    • Jon, America is a mess, and we didn't even take two hundred years to make it that way, but man, as sorry as it is now, if there is a better, more stable system anywhere but here, why don't you pack up and move there?
