    • I tried to grow one of these. It died while being transplanted to a larger container at 3.5 months. I was unprepared for the size of this plant! It takes a long time for them to grow. I figure mine would have taken 6 months to produce a good yield of spuds. Needs a minimum container size of 15 gallons for indoor growth. Good taste. Very potatoee. Can't wait to make twice baked purple potatoes!

      Thanks so much for your comment and feed back. I am thinking about ordering seeds because they do not carry these in grocery stores near me. So it needs a big pot? Can you compare the taste to anything else?

      I wrote about pummelos too because I just became acquainted with them. They taste similar to a grapefruit but not bitter at all.
