What a great idea!
I deconstruct jeans and make bags by combining the strongest parts to make really lovely ragbags. Or "Tombags" in honour of my dearly departed younger brother! So I save jeans and dockers, cargos...use them to make yarn and knit or crochet a bag, lined with winter jean material. They have pockets for all out electronic stuff, belt loops for hooking keys. flashlights, scizzors etc... just lovely.
Repurposing, another step to decreasing our garbage footprints.
