There is a familiar debate in Wyoming. On the one hand you have a new industry trying to gain a foothold in the 8th Windiest state. On the other, you have a State looking for revenue sources concerned about making this new industry paying, what residents see as, their fair share.

We need to give alternative energy a chance to really reduce our fossil fuel usage. If we tax it to death, that will not happen.

Adding more taxes is not the answer to increasing revenue. The wind energy companies pay taxes on their profit. In Indiana, the wind energy companies said they will show a profit after three years.
Added more taxes to wind farms will only get passed on to consumers. - 2 years ago
