With the recent influx of food documentaries and exposés, comes yet another that forces us to take a look at the gritty (and frightening) reality of what is really in our food.

InGREEDients is a new food film that reveals the hidden dangers in many of the foods that we regularly eat, the alarming effects they have on our health, and what little the FDA is doing regarding food inspection.

Dave Burton, the film’s writer, director and editor, interviews numerous authorities on food and health care throughout the film – each giving their startling finds about the damage our food is doing to our bodies. He also interviews people on the street with questions like, “What is hydrogenated oil?,” finding that the majority have no clue what these additives are that can be found in foods we consume on a daily basis.

InGREEDients vows to, “entertain, inspire, educate, and at times frighten [in a good way] audiences of all ages.” Maybe this will be the film that will open your eyes about what you’re putting into your body and quite possibly save your life.

    • pretty much all the food we eat nowadays is bad for us. Organic food that is actually healthier and cheaper to produce because you are using less resources to grow it are actually more expensive...doesnt make sense

    • No one knows what is in what they eat anymore, or usually even to begin with; it's one of the funniest and saddest things I've ever witnessed. Most people literally just don't care and it blows my mind.

If you eat REAL food, you have nothing to fear.
