Genetically modified food crops: Who can we trust?

Today, corporations own patents on the plants that feed us. Is it a slippery slope? And just who is in charge? If there are risks associated with GM plants can we depend on our government, corporations and foreign nations to always do the right thing? The Green Man asked the experts. Our panel includes biotechnologist Brian Ellis and political scientist Yves Tiberghien of UBC, and bioethicist Pat Howard and plant biotechnologist Zamir Punja of SFU.
