Can we control genetically modified plants in the environment?

We can create seeds that produce plants that cannot reproduce, so-called terminator seeds. We can engineer plants that kill insects and resist herbicides, But can we be sure those traits will not pass to other plants? Our panel includes biotechnologist Brian Ellis and political scientist Yves Tiberghien of UBC, and bioethicist Pat Howard and biotechnologist Zamir Punja of SFU.
