This April 22nd will mark the 40th time Earth Day has been celebrated in the United States!
This holiday is a time for people to re-evaluate their daily actions, participate in activities that clean-up and improve natural areas, and celebrate the beauty and abundance that the Earth provides.
In honor of this monumental anniversary, many organizations are hosting contests as a way to encourage participation in earth-friendly activities and reward people for their good works…it’s a win-win!

Search engine Bing.com is asking students in the United States to submit photos to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day and the winning photo will be displayed on the Bing homepage on April 22, Earth Day itself!
