EcoCenter Opens in Hunter's Point
Sunday morning was a nice day in Hunters Point. The smell of great Mexican food filled the air. Jazz music was bumping and Eco-friendly activity everywhere from youth all over the community.
This was the 9th annual People’s Earth Day and the grand opening of the Eco-Center at Heron’s Head Park in Hunter’s Point. I went because it was a local event that actually had a purpose and made since. I thought it was good idea this Eco-Center and felt that it needed to be covered and see what these young people are talking about as far as building this in their community and is this really going to bring awareness to the young people.
