Currently popping into the twitter feeds, is a story where Amnesty is accuses the Financial Times of pulling an advertisement, which targeted Shell Oil.
"Amnesty International UK expressed its immense disappointment today at the Financial Times’ decision to pull a new hard-hitting advertisement at the last possible moment. The ad was due to appear today as Shell held its London AGM[...]Amnesty International also today launched a new hard-hitting online video focusing on Shell’s illegal practice of gas flaring" -Amnesty
The advert highlights Shells human rights issues they cause for communities in Nigeria. The problems relate to oil spills not being cleaned up leaving polluted water and soil. Other newspapers printed the advert.

Ah, more reasons to hate the Financial Times, as if there wasn't already enough...the fact that the other newspapers printed the advert and they didn't doesn't at all show they are a corporate mouthpiece...retards.
