How to be "Eco-Fabulous"

Have you ever considered looking up environmentally conscious clothing brands? Sustainable fashion has come a long way from the loose-stitched, tacky hippiewear of yesteryear. Hemp, organic cotton, and bamboo fibers can match your current T-shirts and denim jeans and style and durability.

When your clothes start to wear out, consider donating them to shelters for families who need them, and take a little time to go eco-fashion forward.

Greenissexy.org provides advice on what to do with clothes you no longer want or need, as does this simple article on swap-shopping and recycling tips from Collegelifestyles.org.

There are a plethora of blogs out there that will tell you why and how to get your hands on classy, conscious clothes for a reasonable price. Check out Eco-Fashion World for an extensive list of eco-fashion brands, and see how many you've got in your closet.
