A far better use for r and d money (ie taxpayers) would be for the Powerdish. A parabolic dish that follows the sun with a stirling engine generator that produces 3.2 Mw of power in a small footprint. Does not require water cooling. This product should be made available in a residential size, 1-2 Mw per day, with a battery backup system for nighttime. Mass production would get the cost down to a reasonable level and with green grant money, one for every home! To gather more info go to: Infiniacorp.com or Powerdish.com. Thanks
