John Adam's Inaugural speech. Unfortunately, he didn't uphold the constitution when he signed the Alien and Sedition Acts... that was also a great scene in the last part with Thomas Jefferson standing up for the constitution regarding their signing.
Btw, for anyone interested, HBO is showing all of the episodes leading up to the final part Sunday afternoon starting at 2Pm EST.

Me either. I think I'm in love with the actor who plays Thomas Jefferson. I have never seen such an indepth, intelligent, and yes, sexy portrayal of a founding father

I couldn't agree more. What an educational tool! And showing them as human with their faults, their family disputes and joys, and their own apprehensions has truly made this series so much more enjoyable. The one facet of this series that is most accurate that we are beginning to now see with the election of John Adams, is that these men wanted to serve, but titles were not what were important to them and as fact wearied them of the job. At the end of the last part George Washington upon congratulating John Adams on his inauguration stated, "now I am fairly out and you are fairly in...let us see which one of us is the happier." I look forward to watching this each week, and will actually be sad when it is over.
