Security Bill close to passing Congress

The Senate passed it last night, and the House is expected to pass it today, and the White House, although they object to some provisions, hasn't promised a veto, so they might actually get something done in Washington! The worrisome part though? These were the recommendations of the 9/11 commission. 9/11 happened in 2001. The commission finished up a couple years ago at least. And we're just now enacting their recommendations? Doesn't seem like there's a sense of urgency, does it...
