Michelle Preston, 27-year-old psychology and geography teacher at Shawnee Mission West High School, Kansas, has been charged with having sex with three students.
Preston, of Lenexa, is accused of engaging in consensual sex with three students between September 1 and December 31, and is slated to appear in court October 4.
Preston was in her third year teaching at the high school when she was put on administrative suspension March 7 after a complaint of inappropriate relations with a student. The same day that her suspension was announced, Preston was involved in a car wreck in Miami County. Her 2011 Chevy Equinox went off a ledge at 247th and Flint and landed in a creek embankment. She was airlifted to a local hospital. Once she came out of hospital she was arrested and released on bond.
