So I decided to do this in my area and got the same response. First cops drove up on me and my gf looking to catch us leaving graffiti. They called us weird then left. A half hour later two taggers thought we were invading their turf but seen it was chalk and left us alone. Eh, it was a strangely fun night. Thanks for the inspiration ellis.

This was the first Current Pod I had ever seen. Saw it at a Current Screening/Info session and it immediately hooked me as a Current user and content producer. One of the best!

This is why I love NY, art, free-thinkers, youth, openness, imagination, inspiration, motivation and God.
Blessings to Ellis G for taking a life threatening personal violation and twisting it into a positive that is changing the world, one shadow at at time.
Shout out to the NYPD. lol.
Love It!

this style of street art is very common. many people in cities all over the world outline shadows. this guy is not the "inventor" of this.

This was great, I loved the art work and how at night the outlines made the shadow seem more solid. Well shot video too, interesting and good use of narration.

Great visuals and you grabbed my attention with this video: I had Current on the tv with sound off. Went to the website later to look up your pod! Good videography--long enough shots not to be distracted by quick movement.
Ellis G's comments about his work were very interesting and formed a good story. And I liked the segue into the story: people looking at the artwork and trying to describe what they were seeing.
I liked the touch right at the end: outlining his face in chalk!
