    • I like that, short and sweet! Definitely highlights the various colors of the turbans and watching the guy wrap one around his head is ridiculous! After watching a pod on head scarves in Muslim countries, this is very refreshing to see that turbans are worn as simply fashion statements rather than an enforced or banned thing by the government, I always thought the turbans were worn in accordance with religious values! Nice pod!

    • This piece was interesting because, while I haven't really sat around and wondered about turbans, it's still one of those things that it's interesting to have a better cultural understanding of. I liked the B-roll of all the different types of turbans and a couple of the trivia facts. I do, however, wish that I heard something about turbans from someone who wears turbans. I think it would have given the piece a little more character and a better narrative frame work.

    • "Indian fashion has come a long way. Gone are the days when Indian 'kurtas' and 'Om shirts' were seen only on the hippies of the 60s and 70s. Fast-forward to January 2000, La Semaine de la Haute Couture, Paris where India's golden girl, Ritu Beri presented her Summer 2000 collection. Or we have Wendell Rodricks and Anita Dongre, having the honour of being the first Indian designers to present their creations at the world's largest prêt-a-porter fair in Germany, IGEDO."
