      There's nothing wrong with him. Collecting [whatever] is just a hobby. I have way more comic books than this guy has sneakers, and I wouldn't call either of us obsessive collectors.

      There seems to be a double-standard when it comes to shoes though. For most professional women, a closet full of shoes is the norm.

      And most people on the planet don't sleep in beds. Does that mean there's something wrong with you for sleeping in one?

      Also, I think you're making a big generalization about "kids" in "sweat shops." No one is making shoes for "nothing" -- granted it may not be a wage that can support a family. I'm not endorsing Nike's labor practices (or any other shoe company's practices), but don't be a whiny, capitalist hypocrite and judge how people spend their money. If you care, spend your own money according to your conscious.
