    • Simultaneously destroying and creating, that's what's beautiful about Graffiti.

Yeah, me too...that's my point exactly. People like to complain about graf as some sort of scapegoat for the problems of the city...they might want to focus on the real problems. Only when an area gets 'bombed' heavily does it get any attention, and then it's classified as a problem. So all the broken bottles of Dubra and syringes are fine, as well as the crappy abandoned building to begin with?

    • i think this art is amazing, granted, some people do vandalize pointlessly, but that shouldn't be put into the same category as some great graffiti artists.

    • This is just glorified vandalism. It''s clear there are people with an artistic skill involved and this should be helped in some way that doesn''t involve vandalism and making other people''s lives a misery. Lets be honest though, about 99% of what we see isn''t art, it''s just some moron writing a name on things, it''s not in any way cool, I pity these people!

    • by Special Arrangements of gallery what????

I do not hate graffiti I hate a bad graffiti. Pretentious graffiti and artist want to be graffiti. However, some graffiti remain unique by it own means. Some in San Francisco, Tijuana and NY are excellent.

    • Think of the bad graf in your area as in investment in a future artist. I am sure that some didn't like the art that Shepard Fairy was doing when he started. But damn look what we have gotten out of the deal.
