I MET WITH AMMAN

Wilfrid
The wearied young people of social divisions and the eternal conflicts between families, clans, religions and nationalities, massively swore to give up all these prejudices and to be satisfied to be themselves.
I met with Amman, like in a cultural agitation where Orient and Occident intersect.

    • Kudos to that, as a Jordanian brought up and living in Amman I definitely agree with the last point you made on how the upcoming generations are trying to steer the wheel and change the direction to something they believe is better, but also with no disregard to our traditions and values!

Good Job, I liked it :)

p.s: to those wondering about Rania Kurdi's accent, she's of a Jordanian father and a British mother

    • It's great to hear the views of people in the mideast who have been chosen to be interviewed by an independent film maker and not through the prejudices of mainstream commercial media. Thanks.

    • It is a really interesting and beautifully made video. It is a serious work, close to the feeling of people who live in Amman. I strongly reccommend this work for TV. This art-documentary work brings an image of women in the East that is not usually seen on the media. Also, it makes us think of the West, and its contradictions (religion and culture). Thanks Wilfrid, your work is worth gold!!

    • Posts and viewpoints like this make we want to explore the world so much more. There is far too much to see to stay in America and be afraid of what's outside. As the middle east progresses (slowly but surely) it will definitely be a destination that I won't want to miss.

GL 100%, thank you for the pod.

    • I like it, very well shot and edited. But I think it could be a bit shorter, maybe shorten Keke's interview a little bit but overall it's a good movie.
