Cayuga Park: Garden of Light

EverProductions
Tucked away under a public transit system in the city of San Francisco, you'll find a beautiful secret garden, Cayuga Park. What makes this park so unique are the striking wooden statues carved from the very trees and plants that grow there. The artist and caretaker of the park, Demetrio O. Braceros, helps us understand why he creates the art he creates.

    • Thanks to Demetrio and his wonderful work I am able to take a group of preschool children to visit a beautiful, magical garden and see the wonder that can be created through work with our hands. HIs work is a gift to the city, so glad he didn't just clock in and clock out! Thanks for the video!

    • I also live in San Francisco and have never heard of the place! I'll be looking this up and getting over there as soon as I can. The wooden pieces are really beautiful and the old man's charming. GL! And good luck!

    • From an audience standpoint it's hard to watch him struggle through his interview. On a personal level its well-worth the effort. Thank you for bringing this man and his work to light. Best of luck.
