The intriguing detailed papercut artwork created by Kay Weber, an artist who is so passionate about storytelling the legends and the myths of different cultures. The delicate beauty of the fine lines and the particular small aspects of the pieces within many of his artworks, utilizing cuticule scisors, make his artform worth to be contemplated and admired by all!
Kay Weber is a native German, who lives and works in San Francisco, California. He is a Fine Arts Director at the Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco and also a Board Member of ArtSpan, the producer of San Francisco Open Studios. Everyone is welcomed at his annual open studio, held on the last weekend of October. I suggest anyone to contact him in order to schedule an appointment to see his work or any of his upcoming shows.

    • I really like his work! I wonder if he practices yoga or any sort of meditation method in order to get in such detailed oriented artwork and decide to create an incredible 10" X 4" piece like "Hel". I'll make a point to visit his atelier when I finally make my dream trip to San Francisco. Peace!
