Creative taxidermy contest in Brooklyn, NY!

Image

This is an illustrated report on The Carnivorous Nights Taxidermy Contest held in Brooklyn last Friday night at the Union Hall bar. It was judged by, among others, a staff member of the American Museum of Natural History.
Includes an interview with grand-prize winner Mike Zohn of Obscura Antiques.

Link to lots of photos with their bizarre examples of creative and novelty taxidermy. Including (but not limited to): two-headed chicks, Fiji Mermaids, and an "Indian Corndog."
