Carved beautifully out of the rock is a complex of temples and tunnels covering an area of 300,000 cubic feet. (Big Ben is 15,000 cubic feet)
The work is the result of one mans ability to "remote view" - a man who has had visions of these beautiful temples since he was a child. Using his unique remote viewing ability he supervised the excavation of the temples.
Check the link for all the pictures.
Magical stuff.

Sounds to me like a hobby that got obsessively out of hand.

The ancient town of Mahabalipuram, in Tamil Nadu, southern India, is full of monolithic monuments and temples carved out of huge rocks.

This is breathtaking - how amazing that people actually carve buildings out of the rockface. Stunning.

I first heard of those temples. I spoke with a friend of mine who told me she had gone there, hoping to join the commune/cult. She was extremely disappointed by the cold reception, the demands of money, and the exclusion she experienced during her three week stay there. She told me the place had a very weird and most unpleasant atmosphere. She is a highly open and spiritual person, so I think she was speaking the truth.

Wonder if the surveyor included that in his report for any perspective buyers. Imagine Kirsty & Phil from Location, Location, Location would have a field day!
