Star Spangled Banner "Not"

brightdivine
Although I admire her guts and passion, I also think it was cowardice to lead the people around her to believe they were going to hear the Star Spangled Banner. At least Roseanne Barr didn't change the words.

    • life is about growth and trascending into a higher person, so what thats what i say ,so what that she changed a song that has been sung for generations. for good not for bad. how many world leaders still to this day lie cheat kill ban books and singing and playing and u can only sing this song not that one. listen and grow .let people express there feeling she had to hide it cause the mayor would have said no to the change. she knew this so had to get gangster wit it. LET FREEDOM RING in monotone

    • Wooe, gutsy disrespectful move... I doubt that her African American brothers and sisters appreciated the change in the Black anthem either! Was her statement about unifying the two? Or was she making a statement in her mind against White America, or what? Has she made comments about her rendition/rant?
