Artist Ryan Alexiev's unique artwork is meant to make us think about consumerism, advertising and the role of an often-overlooked cultural institution: the breakfast cereal.
In his show, "Land of a Million Cereals", we see among other things, what CNN would look like if your TV set constructed images not from pixels, but from cereals. Mmm, Larry King has never looked so appetizing. Also, bravo on selecting that particular still of Larry King Live! (a classic episode, if you ask me!)
Alexiev's show is currently on view at San Francisco's Mission17 gallery.

Larry King actually has a gigantic portrait of himself in the bar off of his family room made entirely out of jelly beans. His tongue is made of green ones. I guess this guy's face just lends itself to be made up of artificial flavor...
