A painting tutorial by one of surfing's most sought after surf artists, Ron Croci. This painting tutorial takes you through the steps to produce the artwork for the Roxy Jam in Biarritz, Côte des Basques, 2007 contest poster.
The original art was created as a contest poster, as well as other collateral uses. The goal of this demonstration is not to say that there is only one way to paint a picture, but to show Ron's approach to his art, and what steps he takes to accomplish his unique set of goals. All artists need to create their own individual, signature styles, however the technique demonstrated here is very useful in the exploration of any specific practice...
