this reporter can tell you first hand that nothing is less sexy then almost choking to death on a stray hair whilst doling out the oral pleasure. a true mood killer.

I prefer my own and theirs, neatly groomed and trimmed. Public hair is for sanitary reasons, so I want to know someone cares for their health AND mine.

I say keep it clean and smooth for both guys and girls. It just feels better and is more fun

I don't really mind either way, but it is nice to be able to see what you are doing down there. I shave everything from the neck down. I just like it that way.

I just use safety scissors so i don't poke anything. I don't turn anything down but my collar. Unshaven or not. Not on the first date though!

no . there will be no oral contact between me and a hairy snatch . i'll still poke it though . and i actually trim myself , with the same shears i use on my head , with no guard , whenever action is assured .

I think we can all agree that there is a tendency to appreciate a clean shave, so rather than shave if someone tells you to, shave till someone tells you NOT to.

My experience: People who shave tend to be cleaner all around, shaving is effectively making a statement that you take care of yourself, i.e., I prepared for you. Also, some people don't even look down there, at all, much less shave.

At the VERY least, keep it very trim. You get haircuts, don't you?

I prefer a guy with some chest hair to being hairless, but I know most of my girlfriends disagree. As far as the hair down there, I don't really care so much. It's not really a deal breaker either way.

As for girls, I say to each her own, but maybe just keep the hedges trimmed within reason, no one wants to see someone bushing out of their swim suit.

I agree with McGaspa. I don't want to be down on a guy and floss at the same time, you know? So most def you should at least trim.

as a lady i don't really care how much hair my guy has, and actually i prefer that he have more than less - as v mentioned before, the hair's there to reduce friction. stubbly sex = razor burn and ingrown hairs (and possible nasty infections). no thanks. i prefer to keep myself vaguely trimmed but that's so i can wear a bathing suit without the flyaways.

I love how this has become a men's preferences only discussion. Do women not care? BTW how do you girls feel about body hair? I had an arguement with a guy about whether girls like a man w/ body hair.

I personally don’t mind hair ABOVE the lady bits but anything along side of it is just gross. That’s my opinion at least.

With regard to odor control, much simpler than trimming the hedges is simply to wash.

Guys can trim the hedges. It helps with odor control. But don't shave. There's nothing more irritating than stubble in that region. I'm speaking from experience here.

Why on earth trim it? Nature put them there for a damn good reason - natural women and men are the best, no artifices needed.

As long as it is trimmed, regardless of the pattern or shape or lack there of is fine to me. Although, I prefer health to appearance and pubic hair acts as a natural "filter". That being said, I also believe that us guys should have the same standards for ourselves.

Pubic hair acts as a natural lubricant - shaved pubis get sore very quickly.

Personally, I like my woman to have sideburns alone.

i usualy dont think about it much but ive had three girlfriends that kept the yard clean , the racing stripe , and the flying v and i think it is just as attractive as all the hair was back in the 60's
