Why does those who supposedly abhor violence as a means to ends almost always resort to it in order to solve challenges to their faith?

thing is, I don't see it as disrespectful or distasteful - she is presented as beautiful, and as far as I've seen from the pictures, no aspercions are cast on her virginal quality. So what if she shows a bit of her breasts. Mary is often portrayed as sexually attractive in Christian imagery, as well as pure and mother-like - she represents all stages of woman, so why is it disrespectful or distasteful to show her sexuality?

and as for religion remaining 'sacred' - it should be the first thing to be made un'sacred', given all the divisions and conflict it causes.

I find it strange to attempt to combine the Virgin Mary with the fashion of the modern world. Sadly, i cannot say that i'm okay with this i may not be Catholic but i find it to be a bit disrespectful to represent the Virgin in such a distasteful manner.
