African print has long influenced designers from Diane von Furstenburg, to Robert Cavalli. This year Africa will not just inspire fashion at New York Mercedes Benz Fashion Week , Africa will show up, live and in person.
The African Fashion Collective, which include the 4 labels: Xuly Bet by Malian designer Lamine Badian Kouyate, Tiffany Amber by Nigeria’s Folake Coker, Momo by Nigeria’s Fati Asibelua and Stoned Cherrie by South Africa’s Nkhensani Nkosi will be showing Fall 2009 collections at this year's New York Mercedes Benz Fashion Week (Friday).
