The International Criminal Court is accepting supporting evidence of children's drawings of the alleged crimes committed in Darfur. This sketch by Abdul Maggit depicts a typical scene of destruction.

    • this is all very sad but i'm encouraged that people are giving these kids the space and materials to do art around their experiences. i volunteer with a Bay Area organization that goes into transitional housing shelters and does weekly art therapy groups and i've seen first-hand how healing and helpful just giving kids the materials and space to express what is going on in their lives can be.

does anyone have any more info on this story? how did they get these drawings and is there an organization that is doing art with these kids?

    • The fact that this happened shows that world leaders do not have the responsibility or morality to protect and lead the way to the future.
It's just to little, too late.

    • So heartbreaking and tragic. The comment regarding thanking people for food but wanting the guns taken from those killing them made me sad because I know if it means standing up to the Chinese government to stop supplying them it 's not going to happen. Maybe those supplying the weapons should have been listed on that arrest warrant as well.
