Your Very Own Art Studio in a Subway Car

London artists now have a sustainable solution for the dilemma of renting expensive studio space to work in. Furniture Designer Auro Foxcraft purchased four old Underground subway cars for 200 pounds each and mounted them to a rooftop to create some unique, affordable office space. Located on the roof of a brick warehouse in Shoreditch, London, the Village Underground, as it’s called, provides affordable studio space for artists at the cost of 15 pounds a week. The seats were removed and the cars were retrofitted to create the highly desirable and much needed studio space.
