My dad once had a studio in an old airplane hanger in Claremont. Worked out great for him!
This is a wonderful way to recycle, and as an artist, it's difficult to afford a studio! - 3 years ago

Sign me up, or tell me where to buy one. I need space.

I hope it's not short lived, and I hope true artists get the digs. I would so much love a space JUST for my Art supplies/studio space. 'No looking for stuff when the mood strikes. 'Wonder if they have water available for painting, and electricity for 24/7. You could work non-stop till you drop and not be in anyones way. Cool Beans!

Very very cool...even though I was led to believe by the title that you could actually use the car AS a studio.
And Delia, they have done things like this in the City, but it wouldn't be on display for too long. Which is funny for the fact that the whole style originated there, yet only in Europe do they actually give heads the credit they deserve...willingly.

I always wondered what the old tube cars were doing up there.
Now I know.
