Nowadays, people get crazy about body piercing. You can see it on lips, tongues, ears, navels and plenty of other parts of a human body. Lip piercing is becoming more and more popular these days. It is a type of body piercing which involves penetrating into the lip or the area surrounding the lip.

    • I currently have 15 piercings and am planning on getting more which actually my lip is what I'm planning on getting done next. I've had it pierced one night when I was drunk and had my tongue pierced the next day anyway took out the lip piercing. But now I want it back and I don't think it should matter if you have body piercings or not. They're expression of yourself on your body. I think piercings are beautiful same as some tattoos. If there's lots of colors and there's meaning behind a tattoo I believe it's beautiful. But that's just my opinion. So yeah lip piercings are totally worth it!

    • i've had my nose pierced for 5 months and took it out a week ago. Every time it would get healed, i'd get in a fight or walk into something. If your accident prone, i'd say it's not worth it.

    • If body art were more accepted in the workplace then it would totally be worth it! But since you can't exactly hold a good career and look the way you want, not really worth it. It's getting more and more accepted though so in a few years it might be perfectly fine.

    • You're probably more prone to herpes outbreaks and various other infections. Plus it looks horrible. Just forget about it. That is all...

    • A couple months back I was either going to get a vertical labret piercing (so awesome!), or chop my very long hair off. I wound up getting the chop because, well...facial percings aren't accepted in my work environment (clerical assistant at a hospital), and it wouldn't be accepted at the career I'm aiming for (Art Therapist).

      Things would be a lot easier if I didn't give a shit =)

    • I think that just like any other piercing/tattoo/hairstyle/physical mode of self expression if it makes people happy and more satisfied with themselves then of course it is worth it.

    • well I dont have my lip pierced so I cant really say whether or not its worth it, but I did date a guy with his pierced and I wasnt a fan of it. It would always poke me when we were kissing and sometimes fluid would dribble out of with when he was drinking....not sexy at all.

      but to each their own ;)
