This color-changing pot by William Spiga and Juliana Martins can tell you if it’s too hot to touch or if your food is ready just by looking at it. As the cookware heats up a yellow-ish color will first appear against the default blue background followed by bright red when things really start cooking.

    • retarded-er-est... for anyone who is just learning colors...or temperatures... like a beer can that tells you it's cold.... here's a thought pots/pans in the kitchen are always hot, always use the handle and/or a side-towel/cup-towel. also whatever is inside is probably bound by the same physical laws as everything else so you know when heat is applied, it will get hot. the only thing to know is how well your pot conducts heat and which medium to use for what effect on what types of food. practice makes perfect and if you don't know how to cook a "color changing pot" isn't going to be the miracle you were waiting for

Thanks, I know. Retardeder and retardedest are not real words I was trying to emphasize the idiocy. Obviously, my comment did not get through to everyone. Maybe it was just a bad joke, maybe you just didn't get it. The point is still; the idea for a pot that changes colors is a waste. Thanks again for your comment.
