When my friend Dana called me and said he wanted to drive to Nova Scotia to surf, I surprisingly knew he wasn't joking. Two hurricanes were fast approaching and, although the 1300 mile journey was a gamble, I knew that it would be an adventure regardless of whether or not we got skunked. If anything, I wanted to score some nice photographs for my portfolio, and make a short film about our last minute journey for waves.
