In case you missed it, there was a paper boat sailing down the thames. Luckily it was a origami boat made by German artist Frank Bölter and not a bunch of garbage in the river merging together.
According to the article, the boat was named To The World's End and had some lightweight metal poles to hold it together. Though there is an added note saying it is not known how long the boat lasted in the cold murky waters.
