    • Really nice.....yeah, my wife had difficulties with BK, but then she didn't really want to see it from the beginning, and really only got to see 2 disjointed episodes (two seperated by a week).

    • Thanks for you kind replies.

Bar Karma can be a family affair as you can see, kids enjoy the show also.

      Action figures anyone?

      Very cute. :-)

You had mentioned to me that you read my darker pitch for Bar Karma, and enjoyed it.

If Bar Karma were to run with this idea, and produce the episode, how would you approach it with your kids?

      Would you let them watch?

With a whole new generation of people growing up, and being attached to the internet all of the time, censorship becomes harder and harder to monitor.

In my opinion, the next generation will be much more aware of the world, and will become more emotionally and mentally mature at younger ages.

I think those are good points.

You pitch has suicide in it as I remember, I think Dayna's father commits suicide.

I watch everything with my kids already, we have watched all of the Star Trek episodes for each series, Star Wars, etc.

I think these themes are in these other types of programming but it doesn't have a negative overtone. Just as long as suicide and other ill manners are not glamorized. I would rather watch this with my kids than to have them listen to rap music where mysoginy and violence are glamorized.

In series like Star Trek, Star Wars and hopefully Bar Karma, there are consequences for negative actions. I use Star Trek as a teaching tool all of the time in my household.

To be more specific in regards to Bar Karma, this is more clearly defined. Bar Karma teaches children there are consequences that you cannot even conceive of for your actions.

    • . . .I still think they're to young to spend a lot of time at a bar.

      ( I suppose the bar IS timeless though,......hmmm , . . . )

    • That's what we need until season 2 airs (I hope), a filler show called "Lemonade Stand Karma." It's about a kid who runs an extra-dimensional lemonade stand where other kids show up when they're facing a life-changing decision.
