Looking at the works of Spanish street artist, Sr. X often seen provocative messages masked as vintage advertisements. Sr. X draws inspiration from pop culture, movies and urban legends and creates stencil artwork that are becoming more prevalent within Spains urban landscape.

Sr. X creates his own identity with his amazing stencil/ spray paint work and collaging. There’s less of a concern about exactitude of the stencils (which, by the way, there is) and more concern about the art, with a welcomed cheeky tone on and off the streets. Off the streets, Sr. X indulges in a more painterly style that helps to drive the messages often brandished ironically. Either way, there’s an overall feel of a piece by Sr. X besides all of the aloof jesting. http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/section-table/42958-sr-x-street-art-monty-...
