Pitch Current TV your idea* for a short documentary by July 4th. If we like your pitch, you may be one of five filmmakers to receive a one-day pass to BRITDOC ’08. You’ll also have the chance to meet with Current executives on the ground and pitch your idea for potential commission & TV distribution.
BRITDOC is the essential annual meeting of every key player in British documentary. The festival brings together leading international film producers, distributors, and financiers to meet British talent face-to-face. This year's themes are comedy and music, and the festival boasts a fantastic line up, including a keynote speech and masterclass from comic maestro, Larry Charles (director of Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Borat).
Download the pitch form below. Fill it in and email** it back to us at tkhadder@currentmedia.com. In the subject line of your email, write "Current Pitch + your name". It’s that simple.
Your pitch for a short film (3-10 minutes) can address anything that is relevant to you, your friends, your community, and the world. Subjects can include new trends, counter-culture, social changes, relationships, cultural traditions, local or world-wide controversies, and global technologies.
