Burning Man 2009

As "info-tainment" and "up-to-the-minute" as Current TV claims to be, it's pretty typical of them to provide little or no information on the programming we actually want to see.
I for one have pretty much had it with the cutesy little arbitrary statements in the programming bar like "open you eyes!", or "take a walk outside", or whatever. OK, we get it, some college film student learned how to use the damn label maker. How about a little, um, INFORMATION(?!?) in that bar, about the actual programming?

ANYHOW, due to the fact that there is not one single statement on their site addressing what sort of coverage they will or will not be providing this year, one is left to only assume that the aforementioned "scaled-back" coverage is meant to read "we will not be covering the event this year at all".

LAME.

Current TV, I am highly disappointed in you. Not for refraining from covering the event this year, because for all I know, you may just spring it on us live tonight, but for failing to deliver any news whatsoever on the topic of whether you will cover the event at all.

I extended my cable specifically for this. Thanks for, well, nothin.

I have to agree with daflew. It would be nice to know what's going on and if you will show the burn this year. I watched 'Burning ManLives' and Max and Jason's show about BMan but they were both clip shows from past burns.

I have been to Black Rock 8 times an it's nice to have Currents coverage of it when I can't go, but it would be nice if they let us know what's going on.

this really sucks that you leave us hanging. we have no idea what your doing for the burn this year. last couple of years have been super active but no notice or anything this year... now that korea, clinton and gore have made a big name are you gettting too big for your britches there current?

I am also missing the burn this year. Hopefully you guys will give us glimpses of home like last year. We will throw a huge party and watch the burn on Current, if it's available....I love you and miss you Happy Camp!

I know that there is a radio station that will be doing national feeds, and rumor has it that current tv will be there only on a smaller scale... but, what ever.. I will be building the Alternate Camp Zondernaam in my condo in
or Camp Zondernaam part deux... I will be there in spirit.

I truly hope you are still going to be at Center Camp, as I am unable to attend this year, and wil be watching through you as I did last year. Enjoying the individiual clips as well as the Burn. Thanks
