This is kinda like when God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, the original cities of sin. Brimstone and fiyah!
Its kind of sad that part of the Monte Carlo was burnt, but it doesn't really affect that many people. Most locals, myself included, try to avoid the strip at all costs.

You and me both know that no one cares about The Monte Carlo. Now if the El Cortez was on fire I would cry.

Kyle, awesome perspective! This is such a great example of collective journalism -- someone on the ground who can explain how a news story actually affects him and his family. Great job!

Great Job Kylesoehngen! This is a prime example of what is so great about Current.com; it's a place for everyone to voice who they are and their opinions, a place where everyone is always welcome!
Keep'emm coming my friend!

But even the implosion of hotels is a Las Vegas thing. Everyone gets together and celebrates. It's a big party!

If LV cared about its "culture", its residents would not have let this happen to the Stardust. Burn, Baby, Burn.
