These are some cool things that I've seen recently.

Modern Family is premiering tonight on ABC. LA Times, NPR, Washington Post, and TV Guide are giving this scripted mockumentary-style comedy great reviews.
That show looks like it will hold up on its own, but if for some reason they need special effects, may I recommend this very cool thing:
Those are some of the coolest FX, that I've seen in a while. Effects are cool, but sometimes you just need a pure image of goodness. I believe that this elephant will suffice that. Ahh, it's cute because he's bathing.
