Yes Men hoax the US Chamber of Commerce
On the way to work I heard that the US Chamber of Commerce, have decided to end their opposition to climate-change regulations. Great news! A few minutes ago, I found out that the whole thing was a hoax, orchestrated by The Yes Men.
They were able to trick CNBC...
and Fox Business Network...
I love a good hoax. It's great how they're able to manipulate the media, and create spectacle. The value in doing things like this is not purely comedy. By pretending to be the US Chamber of Commerce, they are making the actual US Chamber of Commerce publicly state that they really don't support climate change regulations. This makes them look like even bigger dummies.
