The Courage Campaign, an online organizing network approaching 100,000 members, empowers grassroots and netroots activists to build a more progressive California.
Courage leverages online tools for offline action, whether it's helping kill the GOP's electoral college initiative "dirty trick," count the infamous "double bubble" votes in Los Angeles, or re-brand the California Republican Party as the "Yacht Party" for refusing to close a yacht-tax loophole.
In 2008, the Courage Campaign is focused on raising awareness about the state budget crisis, holding our elected officials accountable, increasing California's importance in the race for the White House, and blocking Blackwater from building a base of operations on California's border with Mexico.
Our partners include MoveOn.org, CREDO Mobile, Democracy for America, PowerPAC.org, United Healthcare Workers West (SEIU-UHW), and the California Nurses Association. The Courage Campaign is also a member of ProgressNow's national network of statewide advocacy organizations.
